Instruments Donation to Halsey Academy

William F. Halsey Jr. Health & Public Safety Academy, Elizabeth, New Jersey

Students from Admiral William F. Halsey Jr. Health and Public Safety Academy, a public school in Elizabeth, New Jersey, accepted donations along with their music technology teacher, Mr. Nick Afflitto and principal Christopher Van Vliet from Gary Waldman and Kenny Roby of the NCMF.

We donated two M-Audio midi keyboards, two microphones, stands and other accessories for their brand new music technology and recording program and 2 Martin Acoustic guitars for their new beginner guitar program.

Our introduction to Halsey Academy

The NCMF was referred to the Halsey Academy and the Elizabeth school district from the band director at Jefferson Township High School, a school we donated instruments to in October of 2021 based on Neal having lived in Jefferson Township during his formative years writing songs.

We learned the Halsey Academy was starting their music technology and recording program, as well as their beginner guitar program and were struggling with budget like most public schools do for these kinds of programs.
