Interludes: The Complete Set-Break Recordings by Circles Around The Sun
Circles Around The Sun announce ‘Interludes: The Complete Set-Break Recordings’ presenting the nearly five hours of music recorded for the intermission at Levi’s Stadium and Soldier Field in 2015. These sessions represent the birth of Circles Around The Sun and would ultimately become the band’s debut album, ‘Interludes for the Dead.’ Available now on Bandcamp, the collection includes never before released tracks, previously unheard music, alternate and extended mixes and studio banter.
"To be a part of it was just unbelievable," Neal tells Billboard. "I used to go to Dead shows in the '80s and '90s, a scrappy little teenager in New Jersey, standing all the way at the back of the stadium 'cause that was the only ticket I could afford. I had no thought I could even be a million miles from the members of the Grateful Dead, let alone making music that would be involved with one of their shows. It's the biggest surprise of my musical life, really."
25% of all proceeds will go to the Neal Casal Music Foundation.
